With 42 years of expertise in general insurance, Mr. Damodar Das Asawa has a wealth of experience that spans various managerial positions, including Marketing and Technical roles. Beginning his career at Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd., he rose through the ranks to retire as a Regional Manager. His skill set is broad, encompassing all aspects of general insurance, with particular strengths in underwriting and claim handling.

Born and raised in Indore, Mr. Asawa now resides in Gurgaon with his wife, son, and grandchildren. His commitment to the industry is reflected in his participation in numerous training programs at the National Insurance Academy (NIA) and his role as a faculty member, training officers and development officers. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, listening to old Bollywood songs, reading books and novels, and helping those in need.
